Enjoy a unique fall fun environment with your Scouts this year! We are located in downtown Palatine and have converted 5 charming acres into a fall educational play land! We have customized a program geared just for Scouts that offers a hands-on educational workshop and a Fall Fun Patch!
Each Scout Program Includes:
After (or before) our hands-on workshop, Scouts will be allowed unlimited play on our inflatables and explore our forest trail, take a train ride, play some games, visit our zoo and run through our corn maze. For larger groups (usually 60+), we will divide the group up and do a rotation from the workshop, to open play, to a greenhouse tour.
Deposits/Payments/Rainy Weather/ Minimums/ Refunds:
There is a 10-child minimum to book a field trip from 9:00am-12:30pm and an 18-child minimum to book from 12:30pm-5:00pm. A 50% deposit is required in order to lock-in your date and is non-refundable within 48 hours of your arrival date. You are committed for your final count five days prior to your trip and will be charged accordingly.
You cannot subtract from your final count, however, you can add guests at anytime. Final payment is due on your event day. If the weather is unfavorable, you can call up to 24 hours before your scheduled date to re-book. However, if you are at the festival and the weather turns, we will not be able to schedule a rain date and there will not be a refund. Please note we have a “rainy day” craft projects that can be done in-doors instead of the inflatable play. We will still make your event a memorable one!
We ask that busses/parents drop-off and pick-up Scouts on the sidewalk located off the parking lot entry into the Greenhouse area, which is in the back part of our building across from Paddock School. There will be a Kinsch representative present to direct and guide your group. Group leaders will be given a sticker for each child. All Scouts must wear these bands in order to enter the festival.
We encourage you to bring additional chaperones to help maintain the safety and supervision of your group. If the chaperones are bringing any additional Scouts not enrolled with your group (i.e., siblings) they must pay the required admission fee into the event. The Basic General Admission fee only is $7.00 and applies to ages 6-months to 12-years. This does not include all the extras that come with the Scout Program. One chaperone per 5 Scouts is allowed at no charge. There is a $2.00 fee for extra chaperones.
Kinsch’s Autumn Fun Fest provides additional activities for your group to participate in for a minimal additional fee:
